We are a fast-growing food-tech company and we are seeking an exceptional Molecular Microbiology Scientist to join our R&D team in Rehovot, Israel.

Scope:
• Develop and optimize different microbial strains (bacteria, yeast, and fungi) for recombinant proteins production
• Plan and carry-out laboratory experiments
• Work as part of the microbiology team
• Work closely with fermentation, protein formulation, food science and QC teams

Required qualifications:

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• MSc with 2 years of industry experience or PhD in the field of Life Sciences with a focus on microbiology and molecular biology – a Must
• Deep knowledge and experience in fungal and/or yeast molecular biology – a Must
• Experience in working with protein expression systems and quantification methods – an Advantage
• HTP experimental design and execution of HTP experiments – an Advantage
• Industry experience in developing, optimizing, and characterizing various microbial strains using advanced molecular biology methods – an Advantage
