The Associate Scientist will report to the Associate Director in the Research and Drug Discovery group. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing experimental systems for functional validation of novel immunomodulatory molecules discovered by Compugen, including target validation activities, research tools generation and QC, expression studies, Abs characterization, cell-based assays, and reporter assay. The candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting experiments, recording and analyzing data, presenting results to management, and writing research reports. The candidate is expected to demonstrate creative/out of the box thinking, propose original solutions to complex problems, perform hands-on experimental work and be an excellent team player.
