The candidate will play a key role in evaluation and development of cutting-edge immune-based therapies discovered by Compugen for the treatment of cancer. This will include supporting functional validation of immunomodulatory molecules discovered by Compugen by execution of in-vivo, ex-vivo (mouse and human tissues), proof-of-concept studies, as well as in-vitro functional assays with primary murine cells. The candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting experiments recording, analyzing data, and writing research reports. The candidate is expected to independently perform hands-on experimental work but also to collaborate in a multi-functional team.
– Plan and execute in-vivo pharmacology studies: tumor cell preparation and inoculation, administration of medications, mice and tumor size follow-up
– Plan and execute ex-vivo immune cell-based assays: isolate and perform multi-parameter flow cytometry analysis of immune cells ex-vivo (human and mouse tissues and tumors)
– Plan and execute in-vitro experiments: perform immune functional assays in-vitro with human and mouse cells
– Record results in laboratory notebook, prepare written reports and oral presentations in a timely manner
– Collaborate with team members to ensure timely progress of research projects according to the pipeline prioritization
